doing all the fab work to have just a slow trail quad doesnt sound like the work. why dont you just buy a 300ex?

Still think you should go with a yz250

LOL!!! holy crap, nevermind i dont want anymore opinions now! it seems to me that no matter how many times i say "no 2 stokes" there is always someone that says, ....der, howabout a 2-stroke, der! lol whatever this was a dumb idea anyway i think ill go with the warrior motor.

what i want is a Blaster based "4-STROKE" (yes that is right i did say 4-STROKE) "trail" quad, not a "drag racing " quad.

thank you for the Absent-minded comments tho.

Why dont you just buy a warrior? Could be cheaper in the long run and more practical.

I dont think that would be a good idea either, he wants a four stroke cause he cant handle a two stroke on the trails.

Cant handle? if you say so, ive ridden much more powerful machines than any over-bore blaster can put out, so its not a fact of what i "can" or "cant" handle but what i "want" to handle. i want something that no-one else around me has, i like to be different, and a stock blaster or even a 240 for that matter is not "different" at all. besides if i wanted real power, i go and ride my XT-600 dual sport, yes its a 4-stroke, and yes it will rip any blaster (no mater how many mods it has) to shreds, tht bike is all about low-end and mid-range power! as well as a mean top end for a 4-stroke. if i can handle that, i know i can handle any atv. i am no rookie by any means, im a veteran in the sport so dont go yapping-off about what you dont know! with all of that said....... i am having second thaughts about the whole thing now. i wanted to build something fairly small (aka Blaster) that is a 4-stroke (aka NON 2-STROKE) so i can ride it on PUBLIC riding lands after 2006 when 2-strokes are done for (aka banned). but i realized that no matter what engine is used, the frame is still registered as a 2-stroke production vehicle so i cant use it anyway.
so "mahnster" that warrior idea might be a better choice anyway. they are a dime a dozen these days. for the money i could get for the blaster, could get me a decent older warrior with some $ left over for upgrades.

thanks again for the input everyone, i asked for Opinions, and that is what you gave me. i appreciate it!

I think the TT225 would suck in a Blaster frame

Have you thought about sticking a YZ250 engine in there? It would make a great trail bike then
