Whats the best Pipe for 690 Raptor>>?? LTE?? TIM BARKER?? HMF??CURTIS SPARKS??

I Have wondering for a while now, i currently run an old FMF system. yeah it offers substantial gains but am i loosing potential power in my 690 by running an FMF pipe? instead of the LTE PIPE?? i mean ive seen curtis sparks 686's n their pretty damn fast. I know the LTE pipe looks killer but is it the best pipe out their now>? ive seen the tim barker pipe but i dont feel the dual headers sticking out, i would feel like im riding a dune banshee. but will the curtis sparks be as powerful as the LTE PIPE?? Ive heard that some dual pipes offer the same HP as an aftermarket single one would? but would will the LTE pipe Be excluded from this ?? everyones been telling me to change my pipe setup. what do u guys think?? n dont give me some pro circut, alien,yoshimura,n white brothers stuff. i know those systems are pretty much ok pipes. i know the Alba pipe offers good hp, n the Ct too. but whats the best??

CT and sparks both make more power than the LTE, but only about 2 hp. LTE has a lot of room for engine mods because the duals have a lot of potential. Barker's pipes make the most power, and they run around 800 bucks. CT is around 450, sparks is 550, LTE around 650-700.

why would you even make a post about this, its such a touchy subject.
on a 690 with 11:1 comp, ive seen the barkers make one more horsepower than sparks.
lte have very good flow and i like them, ct flows excellent for being a single. and wouldnt ever buy the hmf, please dont make a comment on my saying anything about the HMF, this is my opinion OK.

DMC is mediocre, and IMO Alba is too. Both are obnoxiously loud even with spark arrestors.

i once again agree with maddog, the alba and DMC, and disgustingly loud, and obnoxious. and they are OK pipes, not designed for big bore, how ever the alba is tunable for a 686, but the dmc is not.
Let me try and make the clear once again, their are only a handful of pipe that work EXCELLNT.....WITH BUILT ENGINES.
CT, Sparks, Barkers, LTE, MBRP
Other good pipes just dont make as much hp, the yoshi, and hmf

Give them a call. Make sure you talk to Rich if you want the best info, I know they don't have much info on their webpage but I can say that they are great pipes at a good price. Just so you know, Rich Hetrick does have some credentials behind him even though a lot of people have never heard of him. He was just awarded 2004 GNC Engine builder of the year and 2004 Mechanic of the year by ATV Sport.

I have the sparks i like it but,i need to pepthe motor up,whats ur guys theory on a stock rod im thinking 12:1 686 maybe or 11:1 what u all think, can i dothat and hold together .love to drag race ..
