Grizzly 660 modifications
#1
I’ve got a Grizzly 660 *05 and would like to ride in some competitions, so I have to prepare my atv and I hope you will help me?
First of all I would like to change the tires to 25x10-12 front and 26x12-1 2rear MudLite (AT or XL).
I also would like to buy the Highlifter Power Now and High Performance Package (which includes the Supertrapp IDS-X Exhaust, Dynojet Jet Kit, K & N High Flow Air Filter, K & N Recharger Filter Care Kit, OuterWears Water Resistant Pre-Filter, NGK High Performance Racing Spark Plug and Outlaw Super Duty Clutch Kit )
Finally I would like to buy skid plates but I don’t know if I should take the Highlifter aluminium skid plates (package 7) or the original Yamaha (the hard anodized plates).
What do you think about these modifications?
What mods do you recommend?
Are the tire sizes which I chose good?
Should I stay by the stock rims?
Which should I take the MudLite XL,AT or XTR?

ur tire selection isnt good. you cant run a 25 inch front and 26 inch rear or you will blow either your transfer ccase or a diff. your bestbet might be to go 26's all round.
as regards the skidplates, just get the cheaper ones. after all aslong as it covers the botom of the engine isnt that all that matters?

your moter mods are just about what i have now plenty of power you wont be dissapointed for sure.....tire size you are selling the power you will have very short go 27" all day long no problems.. rims i would ask are you mudding in rocky gravelly bottomed stuff if you are i would go with tires that balloon out from the rims some to protect rock dings and bead damage
