Default How much performance from bolt ons?

People say that intake/exhaust/jetting will make a difference but does anyone have any hard numbers on the performance increases? I was looking at one website and there was about a 0.7 HP 1.2 TQ increase. It's not much on paper but it's about a 5-7% increase. Will this add much to my top end? What about making it easier to spin the tires in deep muck? Is it worth the $500 or so in cost + dyno time? Would I be better off getting light weight wheels and tires?

I have a UNI air filter, and an FMF MegaMaxII muffler (and of course a rejet) on my Rancher 350, and it makes a noticeable improvement in power! If you don't need to be waterproof, you could also open up the airbox. Trouble is that I ride in the national forest a lot, and had to add a quiet core to tone it down some. That set me back a little, in terms of power.

I have to say that wheels and tires will make a big difference also! I have the older (no longer available), extremely light ITP Magnum wheels and ITP Holeshot ATR tires. Makes it a whole different machine! Superb upgrade!

Do the lighter wheels bend easier than stock?
