Readin' spark plug?
#1
Well i tried reading my spark plug today!
I ran it full throttle pulled in the clutch and killed the engine.Pulled the plug out and checked it.It was black lookin.Kinda dry too!I guess this would mean i am rich?Or would it be lean cuz it was dry.Wasnt real oily just black and dry.
Or i dont know if it is because my bike keeps flooding out cuz when i was takin the plug out there was gas pourin from the overflow tube.Im still workin on that problem.See other thread!
What is the next jet size up and down on a Warrior? I need to get the other problem fixed i guess before i can make sure on the jetting change!
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm not certain you're reading the plug correctly. You need to read the center electrode, down into the insulator below it, and the ground insulator.
Are you looking at the area at the tip of the threads? That tells you nothing as it will most always be dark. The stock main jet is a 145, the next two fatter are a 147 and a 150. There is a 147.5 but I would ignore it as being too little of a change to make a difference. I believe the next leaner main jet is a 140, BUT I'D BET THE
FARM YOU DON'T WANT TO GO THERE!
You also want to use a new, unused plug when testing to avoid a contaminated reading.
I'm emailing you a photo of a plug which indicates a correctly jetted engine.
