Vitos Banshee Pistons

I have not used the pistons, but I have had several engine builders recommend them for stock head/compression motors. For the money, you'd be better off milling the stock head by 50 thousandths. This will put you at about a 19 cc chamber volume and will enhance the low end and midrange just about as much as the pistons would on an unported motor, and it's only going to run you about $50. Also, if you do get the pistons, they will effect the dome size selection of a cool head if you get that later.
From what I have found, the pistons have a higher crown and a enlarged port window. You should contact a reputable shop and see what they say as well. The worst thing you could do is modify your motor without thought of what you are going to do in the future.

SandmanBlue is correct. The Vito's piston has a higher crown and that is how it creates higher compression. So you need to take this into consideration if you have head modifications.
The Vito's piston gave me 10psi. more compression than a stock piston. The intake ports are higher up on the piston skirt and slightly larger so they open up more completely than the stock piston. Vito's piston is about 1oz. lighter than a stock cast or Wiseco prolite piston. About 2oz. lighter than a regular Wiseco. Vito's are made by Wiseco.
I currently have .080 Vito's, Cool Head with 19 domes which gives me 150psi. compression at 5000 ft. altitude. This is on the high side and I do need to run race gas. It screams like a Banshee should.
