Default 330 big bore without a sleeve???

I was scanning through the ATV section in ebay, and saw a guy selling 330 big bore kits for the 300ex,but it was just a JE piston, rev box, and gaskets,he claimed this kit worked without a sleeve. Wouldn't that be an awfully big bore out for a stock jug ?? I would be worried about getting too thin on the stock walls, where the sleeve gives you that added support and heat sink area. My guess is you would be left without any rebuild room left, and once that piston wore out, you'd be looking for another jug. Any opinions or suggestions ??? I have picked up a stock jug to use for the big bore kit, that way if anything goes wrong, I have all the stock parts to get it running again.

The 330 kit is the max bore, on the stock sleeve. I don't remember the piston size , but it caculates to a 329cc. It is worth buying, though. You can't compare the stock 282cc's to a 329. We have a 305 kit with 11:1, it runs good but the bigger ones are faster.
