I thought you said you had a project quad. just because you have never ridden a dirt bike or someting with 500cc's doesnt mean you cant stick it in a quad!!!!! thats the perfect project! just get your crank and flywheel balanced. (Crank Works out of Tempe, Arizona) and brace your frame. you will love it.

I think it would be a good project. I have heard that the kx500 motor is a strong torquey motor. I was just explaining on how this project came to be in my hands.

We ended up at wash 11 when we went. Had a flat on our trailer, it was 110 in the shade and I didnt have my camber and castor adjusted right on my new a arms and rolled my new banshee next to the store on the flats in front of a ton of people. Good times. LOL. Im sure we will meet up in the dunes forum as time gets closer.

XR650 motor is fun to play with and wipe out a few along the way with what Honda should of built yrs.ago and is still afraid to build to date, too bad for them, losing millions in sales.

I couldnt agree with that any more than that..so true. Honda needs to step up to the plate with the latest technology and make a profound impact in the bigbore world. I have seen the XR 650 hybrid quad in action and trust me, it is very impressive. Just ask me
