Ok, I have an 86 TRX250r, and its running rich and fouling plugs every now and then. Its been running pretty rich for awhile but I havent worried too much till it fouled a plug.
Ok, in 1st, 2nd and 3rd it sputters running mid to full throttle, then in 5th and 6th it bogs till full throttle then runs like a raped ape. My low end power it pretty lacking, so I think the needle needs adjusted. How do I know for sure? And which way to I adjust?

Given the part of the band you say the trouble is, I'd have to think it is the needle jet circuit. The best idea would be to get into the carb to see just what position the needle is now in. The nominal position is #3. If the needle is in a higher position (#4 ?), try returning it to the 3rd position, install a new plug & test ride at 1/4 to 3/4 rpms, which is the domain of the needle jet. If your plug indicates rich then you could drop the needle to the 2nd position (from the top) and re-test. If this doesn't solve the problem then it likely is a worn needle or needle jet. If it is the original carb, that's a good possibility, and replacement of the needle & jet as a unit may be necessary.
