Help, im loosing power.

Sorry about the comments.
When your buddy talks about "powerband" he is referring to the area of your rev range that produces the most power. (Hmm does that sound right? it's kind of hard to explain I guess)
The banshee has often said to have a light switch like power band. Meaning....One minute you feel like you have nothing....the next all **ll breaks loose (as well as the tires).
If your bike feels like it is falling off this "power band" ... I would say the jetting is probably off (most likely lean..but I could be wrong...compression plays a big role)
The banshee produces the most usable power for a particular RPM. I don't know where the usable power kicks in (what RPM?). Every engine seems to react a different way depending on mods such as pipes, air flow, jetting, compression etc. This is why a good engine tuner can help you achieve maximum performance for your set up.
I hope that your were not "pulling our chains" with this question. But a power band is not a physical component of an engine, but rather an area where the engine produces the most usable power.(say from 3/4 to full throttle)
Get the idea? I can probably clean up some of my babbling with a better..more educated response if I was not working and did not have to rush through this response. Let us know if you need any rubber bands or a better response.
