I have a 86' 250r and i am thinking about buying a bore kit for it. It brobably wont be a 330, but it will probably be a 310. is it worth buying and would i need any other mods to make it run the way it is meant to be run? i already have an esr pipe, 36mm carb, and its been ported and polished. I also wanted to know if anyone has any problems with a kit. thanx

the 310 kit is not really a big bore kit
you get a whole new cylinder.that is diferent than stock. it is a pro x cylinder usually with porting done. LRD has a 295 kit that they put a new sleeve in your stock cylinder.

I've ran the pro-x 330 cylinder with 4mm stroke for the past 4 years and never had a problem. It's an excellent cylinder. Both y sister and a friend run the 310 and they work great. The 36mm carb should be fine. It will probably give you a lot of bottom and midrange. My friend runs the 310 with a 38pwk air striker, v-force reeds and an FMF fatty pipe and it works great.
