plastic dye?
#2
there is a new paint that is supposed to work on plastics called Krylon "Fusion". a buddy of mine painted his plastic motorcycle fuel tank and said it worked great. it comes in spray cans. if you try it let us know how it works for ya. i'm gonna try it sooner or later, but i haven't used it yet.

I tried the fusion after posting plastic dye? . I liked the way it looked but not the way it stratched off EASILY with my thumbnail. Lucky I tried it on a scrap from my front fender.
On another note. I took a DA sander with 180 then 220 grit. Wet sanded 600 then Eagle One, and it looks like new, no scratches no marks.
I saw a purple quad in this foum my first visit, I thaught. The rider posted Just go get some dye, but not wear to go.
If I was painting same color, fusion would be good. Yellow scratches on on a black fender...
If you find a dye that will work on quad fenders, please let me know.
