Default can u burn out a cam?

the shop wont fix my quad cuz it has 2 much rong with it. but one thing they sid is that i burnt out my cam shaft cuz they sid i must hav ran it low on oli to long. but i actuly have the oil tank over filled. i never heard of burning a cam up. so waz up how did i burn up the cam. or what happend to it. its still drive able. its a 400ex 100% stock engine except for the clutch.

You cant nessesarly "burn" one, but you can ware the **** out of one.

can u tell if its bad by driving the quad? it hasnt been pulling wheelies as good no more.

running to much oil in any engine causes the oil to foam or bubble, thus reducing any lubricating qualities.

i would have to say stock for best reliabiity
