I'm wondering if there are any less expensive mods out there for my 96 Yamaha Warrior. I'm not really looking for anything radical just some small but noticeable horsepower gains. (I've already considered a K&N Filter). Thanks.

I hear it's pretty inexpensive to play with your counter shaft sprocket. I'm sure your aware that an increase in take-off is a decrease in high speed and vice-versa.

I have a 98 Warrior. The best and cheapest mod I did to it was to cut six one inch holes in the air box lid. This mod alone was by far the most noticeable. An aftermarket filter and jet kit along with a pipe and playing with gearing are about as far as you can go cheaply and being only bolt-on mods. I have a Yoshimura pipe and I love it. Good luck

What kind of riding do you do? If you mainly do trail riding and are looking for more bottom end then try getting some sprockets. Going down one in the front and up 2 in the back will do the trick. Renthal makes some good ones and you can get them both for under $40. Your warrior will be able to really rip with these.
