Any suggestions on how to get the chains to stay on real good. They seem to expand when the tire does and they will end up hitting my plastic when you ride. Any help?

While riding in the woods last year, some guy was with us on a 300ex with chains and he kept a few of the rubber tie downs (like bungee but the heavy rubber ones)with hooks, with him and one on each tire. this secured the chains, rubber let them expand and contract, and spares in case one of the cross chains broke, he would use this to tie them down so they would not beat the plastic up....

I put chains on my 250R last winter and the thing went like no tommorrow. My only problwm was they kept hitting the plastic a lot at high speeds and they meessed up the inside of the plastice a little bit. But they really do bit well. I used studs in the fronts and they didn't do a thing. Even on ice they sucked. My buddy used chains on his 4wd machine and they workded out a lot better. Much more control.
