If you use good studs and enough of them, riding on ice is like riding on dirt, if not better. I ran studs on my 250R last winter and hooked up great, just don't ride down the road, it takes the edge off the studs really fast!
I used fast trekkers in the front and immitation whooly boogers in the rear.

I found the right size chains for my tires...do I use the same size as my tires or bigger??...they were $45.00 a pair, all I need is the rear set. Should I get them??

Has anyone tried Excavators on their Banshee for the snow?
