Default Modifying exhaust

I have a White Bro Sries E exhaust on a 2003 Honda 400ex. It has about 10 plates at the end. If I remove or add plates will this give me more low end torque for those steep hills?

removing plates should give it more top end, but I doubt it's going to be enough difference to notice a change.

The white brothers is a disc system and adding discs will increase flow and help with top end.If you want more low end you can remove discs but usually going any lower than six will do more harm than good.
