I've been looking on ebay but all that I have found are for 01' or newer. Nothing for an 85'....

 

I would call some of the manufacturers up directly. Try DG or AC first, as they have both been around for quite a while. Heel guards didn't really exist back in the late 80's. It may be a case that no one makes them for that model atv. I have an '85 also, and the nerfs on it are pathetic by todays standards, but at least it has some extra protection.

 

You're not going to find any made for the lt250r. These days it's amazing you can find any nerfs at all for a quad that was discontinued in 1992, you're definitely not going to have heel guards unless you get some for another bike custom fabricated to fit yours.
