I have a Scrambler 500 the stock comp. is 10.5 to 1. I would like to bump the comp. up.

Would a 1 point increase to 11 or 11.5 to 1 be worth it? Also would I need race gas now? I don`t want to run race gas but if I need to would an octane booster suffice? Last question are there drawbacks to milling the head vs a new piston? I can mill the head myself instead of buying a piston.
