rejetting question for 400ex and help with other future mods.

my buddy bought a 2000 400ex and ordered a white bros e-series slip on. it allready has a k&n. is a 155 main what i need? should i mess with the pilot at all? also what is the natural progression for other mods?

Go up one notch on the needle and a 155-160 would be my guess unless you're at a really high elevation.

And lose the airbox lid or vent it.

I just put a HMF Slip on on my 400ex and my main jet was a 148. what should I go to on it? I also have a K&N filter.

rejetting question for 400ex and help with other future mods.

On my 400ex I had the white bros slip on and no air box and K&n and needed a 165 main and im below 1000ft. But I ran no disks in mine.

I have a WB exhaust too and I run a DJ 142 which equals to a 155 main and a 42 pilot with the clip in the fourth slot from top.
