I"ve replaced the front wheel bearings on both sides of my 11 month old Wolverine. I ride in mud and water alot, I guess it must be the tadpole in me, I replaced the open bearings(stock) with sealed bearings and drilled and tapped the inboard side of the steering knuckle between the bearing and the seal to allow for greasing( not for lubrication purposes but to keep water and mud out, the inboard seal is the less capable of the two when it comes to keeping water and mud out of the knuckle because it rides agaisnt the cv joint housing etc.
