today i raced about 7 times and after one time it was over i turned around then downshifted headed to the truck. well i couldn't downshift past 4th gear i think. and my shifter is stuck. what is it.?!?!

 

Well Mr blue Banshee, just a guess, but it could be the shifter fork(s) has been bent. Do you shift often without clutching? If it it only the fork then it isn't too expensive to repair. Of course, at the going flat rate here in Az of $55 per hour, it would be great if you knew a buddy who was knowledgible in the tranny dept. I would pray that it wasn't the pinion gear itself, as then the repair cost would then jump in a non-linear fashion.
