my brother has a '90 LT250R he bought recently and wants to put a thumb throttle back on it, it came with a twist grip. we're having a hard time finding a factory one. so i was wondering if its possible to put one on from a banshee or 250R?
what are the differences between these & the factory one? cable pull? cable mounting? can i just bolt one on & go?

 

The banshee one won't probably work since there are two carbs (and there's a cable divider in the middle). Don't know about 250Rs.

 

I have a twist throttle on mine, at first I wanted to put a thumb on it, but once you get used to it youll never go back to a thumb.I love mine.

most will work if the cable fits into the handle.friend of mine has a 250r thumb on his tecate
