I was wondering if one of the o rings where bad on my coolhead, would it make the plugs appear to be lean? I have a Banshee, and no matter what I do it,its lean with 300 main jets in, My compression is 160 on both sides, and I looked for air leaks around the carbs, rubber boots, and boost bottle, and there is not a leak, I didn't do a leak down test yet should I?
Mods, 99 Banshee, with FMF topend pipes with turban core 2 silencers, Prodesign coolhead 22cc domes, white brothers boost bottle, proflow with K&N, with stock lid, no snorkel
My quad runs awesome, but when I do a wide open plug check, the plugs are white, not good.

You may be simply too lean. I have several friends with similar mods and some of them are running 310's and even 320's. I'd find it hard to believe that the o-rings are leaking. If they were, I'd expect symptoms like oil around the cylinder head.

I have a cool-head with 21cc domes, a proflow intake with foam filter and outerwear with the airbox lid removed, boyesen power reeds, and Paul Turner Mid-range pipes with Fat Boy silencers. I am running 300 mains right now and am still slightly lean, a light tan color. I could probably go to a 320 to get it just right. And remember, I have a mid range pipe, and am running in the 300's, you have a high-rev pipe, which requires alot higher main jet than a mid pipe does. Try this out, get yourself some 350 or 360 mains. If that does not richen it up there must be an air leak somewhere that you are missing. From your description your head seems to be functioning properly, with 160 lbs. of compression. Keep at it, you'll eventually sort things out.

Pull your plugs, and look at your piston domes, are they really clean? If not, your head gasket's probably not leaking. I'd do what the other guys are saying, and keep jetting it up until it starts running crappy.
