I am trying to get more low end power out of my 1987 Honda 250R without any more compression so that I dont have to run race feul.I am planning on buying a Paul Turner type 6 pipe and standard silencer , either boysen rad valves or delta v-force a k&n filter and a twist throtle. Can anyone give me any more suggestions or disagree with what I am planning on buying.

Thanks:TrxR

If you are wanting more slow speed "lugging" power, which is what I consider as low end power, then leave the bike as close to stock as possible, including the pipe. All of the modifications you have listed will result in a loss in the your ability to lug the machine around on a tight trail. If you are wanting to wake the bike up so the it hits hard in the "mid-range" then all of the modifications you are looking at will increase power in this area.
