I want to know which pipe will give a stock 400ex more power:
1,FMF Mega Max
2,Supertrapp ids2
Which is quieter?
Which is better quality? I have heard of mega max's cracking. will this happen under normal trail situations?

The FMF MegaMax is a good silencer. I had one, and I liked it. Of course, it didn't give huge gains like the open-end race silencers, but they are much louder compared to the MegaMax II. That is the good thing about the MegaMax II. You get a noticeable increase in power, without the noise level increasing that much. Also, concerning your question about the silencers cracking or breaking, I had mine on for about a month, and rode pretty hard. A lot of jumps, and rough trails. I never had any problems with mine cracking. You probably won't encounter this problem as long as you stay on the trails. If you race MX regularly, I would say that there is a good chance it would crack or break on you after time. Other than that, you shouldn't have any problems.

I haven't had any experience with the Supertrapp IDS2, so I can't tell you much about it. You should ask people who have it on here, and see how they like it. Also, talk to a dealer. They can probably tell you which would be better overall for the woods. Hope I helped.
