I've got one question with the override tranny for a banshee. What happens when you let off the gas, say in in third or fourth because of a wheelie or something... I heard that everytime you let off you have to pull in the clutch, you can't just coast. Aslo, correct me if i am wrong, but you have to go all the way through the gears before coming back down?

ok u have very good questions, i had the same ones before doing this. no u dont have to go thru all gears to go back down, u just pull clutch in and shift down like a normal tranny would, u CAN let off but it isnt recommended b/c it can screw up the trans trememndously...i am finding myself letting off alot b/c of wheelies! u can cruise with the trans overrided but u have to be steady with the gas, always have some rpm given to the motor, u cant tap the gas in and out, like rev high, let it rev down all without pulling in the clutch. it is said(i do this always) after each race at the finish pull in the clutch then u are allowed to shift down. do NOT shift down without the clutch in!!!!!
