Default yfz pipes?

What is the "best" pipe for the yfz i got an 06 yfz450 bill ballance edition and i was woulndering what the best pipe was... I am goining to start racing this year and wanted to know what one sounds the best is under 99dbs and still gives good power gains. as of right now i was looking into the yosh rs-7. Also what r better fox shox or elka's?

I have a similar question. I am looking for a good slip on for my '06 YFZ that will boost performance but still be acceptable in areas with noise restrictions. Silver Lake Sand Dunes in MI require that the dB level is below 94.

Well their is no "best pipe" but one of the best ones is sparks. im not sure how loud it is But i know its below 102dbs.

Fox shocks are hard to tune right and not hte best. Elkas are better. Why else would john natly have gotten rid of his fox shocks.

Dr.D is a good power producing and quiet pipe, you can get it in a full system or slip on.

I have read multiple forums since my original post. Although there are proponents for almost every type of exhaust the Dr. D seems to be hands down the best overall choice. I will definitely go with this proven model that is also one of the best priced systems. Thanks all.
