Carb caps?
#1
I need a new carburetor cap for my banshee because it is either striped or bent somewhere and wont screw on. I went to my dealer said that yamaha doesnt sell them, and didnt even bother to call yamaha. Does anyone know of any other companies that sell them? I know ive seen some listed in a dirtwheels ad before, but i cant find them now. Also, i just got a dyno jet kit, and i already have toomey pipes, and boyeson reeds, What should i set the jets to? Thanks if anyone helps.

Yep, ive tried everything. Ive pulled the carb and the cap off. I found out that the cap isnt a perfect circle now because it got bent somehow and it wong screw on if its not a perfect circle, and its really hard to get it back to a circle good enough to screw on. I dont have any problems with the other cap.

why don't you go to an independant cycle shop? Any decent shop will have a microfische of every part of your bike and they would order it for you.. be prepared for a shock when they quote you a price, tho. Also if you have another dealer near you that has junked bikes or quads you might find one there.
