What filter setup do you have? If you dont already have one, get a Pro-Design ProFlow intake with either a K&N filter if you only ride sand, or a Foam filter if you ride everything else. Also get an outerwear to go over the filter. Now run your airbox with no lid. The outerwear is waterproof so you dont have to worry about water to much, just dont play sub-marine. No lid really helps this beast breath. It will also help your power throughout the rev range. Also you could add a reed spacer, they are said to help out from bottom to top. You could also go with a slightly larger carb, nothing huge though, that will hurt the bottom end. I would recommend 28 PWK's, maybe even 30 PWK's.

i was told that with the pyramid rad valves since they act as a reed spacer and better reeds that u can't have reed spacers with this setup...i have a toomey 2into1 airfilter kit(it has no airbox)...and if i'm not mistaken the stoick carbs for a banshee is 28mm...

PLEASE HELP ME OUT also i run 96 octane...what about going down to a 21cc or 20cc domes in the powerhead? what gas will i need and what will i gain/lose by doing this?

Other than porting, carbs are the next step. I would go with the 35pwk or airstrykers. You will not notice any loss of bottom, and the top will be unreal, especially after a port job. Personally I would get the carbs, and then get the jugs ported. I know you said that you were from La, where exactly? Also, after you get the carbs go to 18cc domes. This should give you ruoghly 160lbs of compression, still under the race gas threshhold. You may also want to advance the timing about 4 degrees. These last few things will help you increase the acceleration up to that screaming top end.

Personally I would go with a port job first.
I get mine port and it made a big diffence in horsepower. You said you didn't want to do porting. So I would also say go with the 35pwk. I have them on mine. They are more for top end and high rev. 34mm are more for botom end and mid rev. I also have the Pyramid reeds and pro-design intake manifold.
I run the pro-design intake system with the lid off. Runs much nicer with good throttle response. Lots of top end power.

I also have a question. I want to put a cool head on my quad. Some of you have been talking about dome size. I was wondering which size domes to run. I run trick(112).
Also I was told the any compression over 135 would eventually result in a engine failure. What do you guys think? Need help on dome size to get maximum preformance out of the head and motor. Like I said earlier. It is ported and the stock head has been milled. I do not know how much though.

i think what u need is 18/17cc domes for u'r bike

i didnt say i didnt want port work ever i just was looking for anything CHEAPER than that porting...have any of u heard of the wiseco +6 hp kit for a banshee?
a guy said that i couldnt run the kit with a different head or a shaved head becuz it doesnt have enuff room for the pistons so if i were to put not 1 but 2 bottom gaskets inbetween my cylinders and the engine case it should have enough room right? just a cheap thought...but let me know anyway
