Motion pro makes a setup also to relieve you of the garbage on top of the carbs. It won't relieve the stiff throttle though. Although buying a single carb setup will.

Nac's racing at nacsracing.com can hook you up with everything you need to accomplish this mission. Be advised, you will get a drill bit and a tap to set the carbs up for the idle screws that come with the kit. Now is a perfect time to get rid of that nasty thumb throttle and throw a twister on that machine. Banshee's are a natural for the twist. If you just gotta go with the thumb, I've been told to slightly shave or grind a little on the sides of the springs (be careful or you will be ordering new ones) to decrease the spring rate. good luck.

I have Kiehen 35mm Air Strykers and had a similar problem. To solve it I did two things:

First, I removed the small return spring located in the handlebar throttle housing where the throttle cable attaches to the thumb lever.

Second, I removed the springs from both carb slides and took them down to my local Ace Hardware Store. I was able to find the same diameter spring that was about 1/3 shorter. I then installed them in place of the original springs.

This eliminated the hard pull at a cost of less than $4.00!

Good luck!

Toomey Racing sells Carb caps. They should be able to help you out. I think they run about $6-8.
