Default performance questions

i bought a 07 rancher and the only aftermarket parts for it was wheels and tires and a winch and mount!! K&N doesnt know when a filter will be avaible so i found that the 300ex K&N will fit but its not GREAT fit i had to use a wedge to make it stable, next i want to put a HMF pipe on it i like really like the sound BUT this atv is fuel injected so i dont know if putting a pipe on there with the filter will mess with the tuning!! the pipe will be custom fit anyhow because Hmf isnt working on a pipe for the 420 rancher!! im inpatient and want mods!!!!! LOL

You definantly need to make sure that you have a 100% seal on your filter so you don't ruin your motor as for the exhaust you will need to remap your fuel system or it will be running way lean and could burn up your motor I would not recomend exhaust until you get a aftermarket ignition programmer.

ya thats exactly what i was going to say Tpsycho....does UNI make a filter for the rancher yet???? i'd get something that is made for it, when your riding the thing could come loose or be not as tight on one side and she will suck grit inside your motor and it will be toast!
