SPARK PLUGS

What are the different kinds of plugs I could use on my 250R, and how do they compare with each other. I know about NGK & Champion, but what are the others, and are they even better?

I'm not a expert on this area but all the dealers around me do not reccomend splitfire plugs in two stroke engines. They tell me they see pistons being burned by them. I agree with you fast&red they are the best plugs I've ever used in my four strokes.

The best plug is what came OEM, an NGK. Your motor mods will determine what heat range to get, and with or w/o a resistor. I'd guess a B9ES was prolly stock on an R?

I had a splitfire on there yesterday, and the thing ran better than ever! Today I replaced that with the right kind(NGK), and I noticed the splitfire gave it a better feel...
