will this exhaust give me good power gains on my trx250ex?will i need to rejet?i noticed it has discs and was wondering wat those do.

I had a Megamax II on my 2001 Warrior and it was pretty good ...

The discs allow you to fine tune your exhaust for either more top end or more low end.... I think the more discs you leave in, the more low end you have and vise-versa......

 

do the discs also have to do something with how loud the exhaust is?

 

yeh it makes it a lil quieter and the pipe gives little power gains i would go with hmf, curtis sparks, or dg xcellerater they give more power

 

Pass it up. FMF doesn't even make them anymore, and you would just be buying a leftover one.........

They were OK in their day, but there are so many better designs out there.

 

im kinda on a tight buget and this was the cheapest exhuast i could find

 

the dg xcellerator isnt 2 expensive but if u get one make sure its the stage 2 it gives it alot more power and is only a lil more expensive but its worth it. or the dg rcm is really cheap and i like it it sounds really good 4 the pipes go 2 dgperf.com

 

i dont see a stage two on there only three.also were is the rcm?

 

ohh well 4 mines they have a stage 2 but the rcm ohh on a 250ex i thought it was a 400ex my bad i think u can fit pipes from a 300ex tho so look at 300ex pipes the rcm is there and so is the stage 2 xcellerater
