Default CDI box worth it?????

Im Wondering if a performance cdi would be worth putting on my 2000 ds650 i have a hmf sport slip-on, dyno-jet, and K@N. im wondering if a cdi would make a difference or if there is anything else i can do to up the performance.

A cdi may give you a little stronger spark, but alot of these cdi's promote a higher rev limit which if your bike does not make power in this range its of no use. I would save your money and buy the head pipe to match your slip on. Now I have heard that the ds has a low rev limiter which may need the cdi, but if you are looking for real power I would say pipe,port,cam

Default CDI box worth it?????

i put a high performance cdi box along with the other mods in my sig on my TB 250, and i got to say it was the best 60$ i ever spent on it, Dam my tb can pull wheelies nicely after installing it..
