I am thinking about getting new plastics for my 300ex. I was thinking about race fronts. I was wondering what the add-on was. All i need is the fender part which goes over the tire cause it is cracked.

the race front from Maier is a one piece unit that replaces the front 3 pieces of your plastic. It looks like the quads that race professionally (cut fender look). This is the olny way you can order Maier plastic for a 300ex. If you want, for additional $$$ you can get the add on side fenders that mount to the sides of the racing front end. At that point, it looks like a lame attempt at remaking the original front plastic.

I have fenders for sale that will fit a 250x/300ex. They are blue in the front and white in the rear. I will sell for $130. They are in great shape.

i think you are wrong about only being able to buy race front they sell STANDARD profile plastic for the 300ex. My plastic is all cracked now because of trying to use it for a little bit of work now im getting a hitch and ordering a front back all black kit from maier pretty soon
