Here i go, i just inherited an 85 quadsport 230 from a friend that is deploying. he does not know much about it other then that it ran and was very fast about five years ago until if got sprayed with a power washer and has not been running or left the garage since. i have never had a quad and have never worked on a 4 stroke. i know my way around the garage from playing with jeeps but have no idea where to start on this. any ideas or tips on where to start or find parts for it would be great.

he is dropping it off to me on the 1st, i was just trying to get a head start, he said that they were able to turn it then but he has not touched it in almost 5 years so he isnt sure

 

i haven't really worked on those so i'm not really sure where to point you but i camn look into it
