I have noticed several subjects on this forum where people have mentioned seeing a turbocharged sportsman 500. If anyone knows who manufactures or sells this kit please let me know who it is. I would also be interested to hear from anyone who has seen or ridden a turbocharged quad.

Yeah, there IS a kit out for the Scrambler 500 and I believe for the Sportsman.. Now, Who makes it, I can't remember... I'm sure one of the Polaris guru's will know...
I am considering one for my 97 Scrambler 500 when I rebuild it next spring/summer..

There is a company out of Garden City, Kansas that has put a turbo and efi on a 500 scambler and they are know working on a kit for the 400 as well. The currently sell the kit for a banshee through HI-performance? I think thats the name. They were in a recent atv 4 wheeler action. The kit for the 500 scambler rips!! It is awesome. It will easily beat out modified banshee's. The company's name that makes the kit is GP Engineering. The kits aren't cheap!

 

Advanced Turbo or Advanced Turbo Systems out of Utah, used to say that they would turbocharge anything. I remember seeing one of their videos where they turboed a 3 cylinder 2 stroke snowmobile. I don't know if they've ever done a quad, but I'm sure they would.
