Default Sandblasting a pipe

I have a 350 Warrior and when I bought it, it came with a different muffler from stock(I don't know what it is tho) But the head pipe and the other section of the pipe is rusted and things.

What I wanted to do is in stead of getting a whole new thing is just sandblast the pipe/ clean the rust off and just spray on some hi temp paint on it.

Is it worth it??

I don't know if you have a sandblaster, if not try using a wire wheel, then use high temp rustolem.

yeah i blasted a FMF pipe and siencler it came out nice, but if you would rather get a better finish and use a little elbow grease, i would suggest buying some steel wool and buffing it with that, it clean metal up great.
