I know a guy who painted my frame, and it is almost as tough as a powder coat. I dont know how he did it, but it is tough! He sandblasted it and painted it for 125$, and it hasnt chipped or pealed anywhere. Looks good and it hold up.

I have not done the frame yet...I'm not sure if a will or not... But I did have the work quoted...If you want the frame dipped and blasted first...the whole job for the frame will be around $300...I checked a couple of places.
My swing arm and bearing carrier where powder coated about 1 1/2 years ago...they still hold a shine.( about $200 for everything ).
It was a bit costly, but the work seemed to hold up.... But about a month ago, I threw a chain...well the swing-arm has some scars, but it's not that bad.
I was watching the hot rod channel on TV...or something like that, and they had an ad for a powder coating kit...it comes with the gun, the ground, and an assortment of powder. This might not be logical for a frame...unless you have an extra large oven. But looks like it works great for small items such as swing-arms and the such. I plan on trying out some garage sales for a used oven to put in the garage... The kit itself was about $200...But it would be great to be able to powder coat at home... I know I have alot of items I would like to try it on... the results looked good, and you only have to bake for 20 minutes.
