LSR 250R +3 +1 A-Arms, Airbox, etc....
#1
I just got my Lonestar A-Arms. They are +3 +1, and i have PEP ZPS Shocks on the way, i ordered them in early August, but havent got here yet!!! Anyway, does anyone else have this setup? how much camber(i think) do you have? Camber is how much the tires tilt in at the top, right? or is that castor? Did the stock shock settings from the PEP work right or should i play around with them? Also does anyone have a PEP steering stabilizer? How well does it work? Is an aftermarket airbox like the one Lonestar sells really necessary, or just for looks? Does it let the air flow better? Do the aftermarket aluminum radiator shrouds do anything or are they just for looks too? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

First thing I would do is contact PEP, if you have not already, and tell them you current set up.
If you order the shocks with different a-arm length, then the shock will not be set properly.
Provided you give PEP the correct information, the set up should be very close. Fine tuning will be required for prefernece and track conditions.
But call PEP and let them know before they finish the job.

They radiator shrowds work excellent. More air flow directed to the cooling fins. Yes camber is the in or outward tilt of the top of the tire. Caster is pretty hard to change unless you hit trees or something!!! As for the camber it all depends on what you do. Flat track oval tilt both tires to the left if your sitting on the quad. MX usually you want both tires inward a bit. Play around with it until you find something comfortable. Good luck with PEP. Big time back orders.
