Is the Raptor Gonna be quick enough for mx
#1
hey I live in the UK. We're just starting to see the new 660 coming in to the country now and there are only a few about. As the racing season hasn't started yet, I have seen anything out on the track as yet. I rode the new Raptor a couple of weeks ago in the snow, unfortunately not on an mx track. I was really impressed with the low down torque of the motor, but it wasnt quick enough in 4th or 5th to keep up with a good 250. How much do you think needs to be done to get it up to speed? Is it likely to cost a bomb?
I was impressed with the build quality and the ride, it didnt feel to heavy. I think with a stronger motor, an axel, a-arms, shocks, swingarm( to keep the front down) steering damper it could be quite a machine.
Let me know what you reckon
Cheers
