Hello,I have a Banshhe-99 with FMF pipe and silencer and a few modifications more.
Im thinking to shave the head cilinder a bit but Id like to know the opinion of someone before to make this. How much is normaly to shave within lose reliability in the engine?0.40,0.50,0.75 mm?
Need I make to anymore in the engine, for example modifiqued the timing advanced?I used plum gas of 96 octane.Would I have a ping or detonate problem?
Thanks for advanced.

mine is shaved .040 - it made a big difference in compression. it cost me $15 to have it shaved. do it, bolt it on and go.

Look in the archives. There is a bunch of stuff on this from a couple months ago.

Better yet, shave it 0.040 inches. No more without reshaping the domes. It will run on 92 octane no problem. I'll let you know about the timing advance + shaved head + pump gas as soon as I get the key installed...
