Default dust in airbox

Hey guys, I have a stupid question. I am getting dust in my air box. Is that before it goes through the filter or after?

That is before the air gets into the filter or intake. Just make sure you have a good seal around the collar of the filter and all connections up to the intake of the carb.

correct, that is before it goes through the filter and into the carb. if you are having excessive problems with dust be sure to check your air box cover for a tight seal and that no stupid mod has been done to it. ive seen people drill holes in the top of the air box cover thinking it would increase power but all it really does is creates dust and contamination problems.
