I have a 86 TRX250R with a LRD Team B pipe. My problem is I can't ever get a good seal at the exhaust flange connection, I always get oil leakage at this area? I've used alot of silicon sealant but still leaks. Any suggestions? Am I running too rich?? Help would appreciated!

It is probably not the pipe itself but that in the removel of the old pipe the little gasket that goes inbetween the compression ring and the pipe on the exhaust flange of the motor disinigrated. Either you can buy a new one or you can try sealing it with copper gasket sealer. Remember to let it sit over night before you fire it up.

Good luck

Make sure you use the high heat orange color gasket maker or another high heat brand i had this problem on my quadzilla and after ridin i would have oil everywhere. Just put a thin bead around the pipe let if sit overnite and this should hold. Also check the gasket that sits inside the exhasst flance coming off the motor
