Additional upgrades to 446 Wolverine ?
#1
FINALLY!! my tired old 350 is at Fourstroketech, they just started on it Monday,so in a few weeks, I should be in possesion of a 446 big bore/stroker. The only thing I changed was I had them keep the compression at 10:1, instead of 11:1, just to make it happier with pump gas you find while out trail riding.
Now for any of you who have done the build up, my battery is shot, I know they recommend a higher output battery for the bigger motor, can anyone point me in the right direction there? also, any suggestions on a starting point for jetting (remember, this is a 95, carb is different than the 96 on up). Also, any other things I should look into to make the new motor last as long as possible? I also have picked up a Big Bear 8 pass oil cooler, I figured that would be needed for the extra heat produced, the stock 3 pass is borderline for the stock motor.
Thanks for any tips or info, I'm really looking forward to firing up my new big bore and roosting all over my son !!!
