all you need to get is a motion pro cable for the thumb two carb caps and a motion pro idle adjuster kit... Should be able to get all from your local dealer.. If not call motion pro..

I did the same thing. I removed the TORS sys and kept the thumb throttle..... There are many places you can get it from...
CT racing, K&K atv, Nacs, etc

good luck

What is the advantage of getting rid of the TORS system. Weight, is it complicated. ANd what the heck does it do?

heavos grandes - that's really funny. "the big heave" , "sir puke a lot", etc.

I never thought of intentionally mis-spelling huevos as heavos. That's funny.

What's the point of getting rid of the tors caps anyway?? I put a twist throttle on but left the tors caps. Yeah, they're big and goofy looking, but it's not like they don't work properly. Besides, you can disconnect the tors electronics with one plug.

Toomey sells a kit where you can keep the thumb throttle and lose the TORS.

I want to get it out to;1 free up the cables as much as poss. Yes I have already disconnected them, and rely on my tether.
2 clean up the area just a little bit.
Also I've had a right hand injury(not disableing)and anything I can do to free it up I will.I almost went with a one carb set-up, but could'nt stand the thought of loseing that much top end.

Thanx again for your support...

T.O.R.S is short for Throttle Override System.

My TORS where taken off along with the thumb throttle when the motion pro twist throttle was put on.
