I am doing an engine swap to my Polaris predator and had a simple question. With the new cbr 1000rr motor mounted as far forward as the frame will let me, wil that allow me to not have to extend the swingarm? I don't want this predator to look fast, I am kind of shooting for a sleeper bike at the sand hill. Any Info will be appreciated.

Ha ha ha ha, that's like saying you want to put a 454 with a 14-71 on it and put that in a camero but you don't want it to look fast.
Back to the question. I don't care how far you put that 1000 to the front. If you get a good bite it's going to look like that car in my picts.

I would not mount the engine that far forward it will mess with your chain tention when your bike travels up and down and your bike chain will get loose and then tight depending on where you are in your suspention travel also it will probably rub on your swingarm I placed my Busa motor 1/8 of an inch from my swingarm and it works great. Also I was reading annother post from Supersonic toys that said it will mess with the handling of the bike I think he was saying that it will shimmey durring deceleration. Good luck on your build it is allot of work and time. Post some pics when done I would love to see it.
