Default 400ex cooling

i was just wandering if running with two oil coolers would create lower runing temps and if it is even possible to do?

You feel like you are running hot??? I know 440's run hot, but 400's are usually fine. Check that your current oil cooler is clean and functioning properly.

how would i tell if im runnin too hot? it just seems like my bike gets heated up really fast when im lettin it idle. i dono if it just heats up quicker while idlin cause its not getin any airflow or what.

I never let an air cooled sit idling once it is warmed up to where it can be ridden. Our rule is that if we stop on the trail for more than 60 seconds, the bikes get turned off....

Check out my oil cooler i put on my 400ex from a ford f-250, it runs cool and its only about $35.00 from advance, easy to mount

hey honda460ex4112 were did u get ur head lights?? and i like the frame triangulation sound like a good idea!!! so could u possibly use any oil cooler from a truck or car?

i have ran this oil cooler for 3 years now with 0 problems, it mounts right behind where the stock one was and runs down the frame, you really have to match one up, i think you can use one off a street bike from honda 600rr?? or 1000RR? because they have the same fittings and should mount up and still fit
