ok...i have a 400ex,and i ride my four wheeler alot in the winter. i have turf tamers, stock tires, and pattles.i was wondering if i should use my pattles because they would work sort of like being in the sand...or should i use the turf tamers or stock tires?
also....
i hade a plow(plywood and angle iron to connect it with tow straps to lower and higher.HILL BILLY)i was wondering if someone knows a way to make a plow that will work with out hacking up,or welding anything to the fraim and for under $50

i have seen a way t omake a plow. first take to 4in smal rectangle pieces of metal and weld them to your front bumpper veticy.then drill 1 hole on the pieces of metal. then the plow. take a 50 gallon oil drum and cut it right down the center.take 2 more pieces of metal and weld them to the drum at what ever height.drill holes in them and take to bolts and attacht them together. i would use the paddle tires.

I think the stock tires would be the best, turf tamers next, and paddles the worst. I'm just guessing because I never had turf tamers or paddles, but I plow tons of snow with stock tires.

Did you plow snow with turf tamers? Or paddles?
I've heard that some paddles are really good for riding on snow. But since I'm talking about plowing snow, and not riding on it I didn't think the paddles would be that good. Do they work good on concrete or blacktop? I've never seen anyone use paddles on pavement like a driveway before, whether it had snow on it or not.
P.S. I know turf tamers suck b*lls for riding on snow, but my plow is wider than the ATV and I'm riding on concrete with only a fraction of an inch of snow that the blade doesn't scrape up. Without trying turf tamers or paddles for myself it just looks to me from the design like the paddles would be the worst for pavement.
